 We started in 1994 with a three-bed clinic in Davao City, offering skin care and slimming services. It may be a small beginning, but we dreamed big: we wanted to make Bioessence a leader in the health and beauty industry.
At that time, Filipinos were becoming aware of the benefits of health care and alternative lifestyle. It was a perfect timing.
The people’s encouraging response and our hard work paid off four years after with the opening of one clinic after another. We built branches in SM Bacoor, Binondo, Sta. Lucia Mall, Cainta, SM Fairview, SM Megamall, and Las Piñas. Our dream was becoming a reality.
Soon, we established smaller companies to address specific customer needs: FacialHaus in 1999 and FacialPlus in 2000.
We opened doors of opportunities for others to build their own business. In November 2000, our first franchise opened in San Fernando Pampanga. We soon had franchises outside Manila: Zamboanga in 2000, Angeles City in June 2001 where FacialHaus was first franchised, and Naga City and Legaspi City in 2001 where FacialPlus opened.
But we did not stop working after that. When the demand for spas increased because of people’s fast-growing stressed lifestyle, we built Bioessence Serenity Spa in October 28, 2002 in Greenhills to address the need. We continued to give customers the pampering their tired bodies needed.
From a three-bed clinic to over twenty branches all over the country, we have proven that hard work pays off. Today, we are working tirelessly not just to be a leader in the industry, but a leader in promoting healthy lifestyle for everyone. |
